And the frost is on the seat
And you're called by nature's duty
Til you move with hurried feet
You haven't time to shovel
So you wallow through the snow
And you don't need a thermometer
To tell you it's four below
You make a quick deposit
Then grab a page or two
From last year's mail house catalog
"Or even corncobs do"
Then to the house and fireside
You beat a quick retreat
When the snow is on the out-house
And the frost is on the seat.
