| A highly intelligent species, this predator lives in small family units of about six animals. Generally, each group is dominated by the alpha male and female, which are also usually the pack's only breeding pair. Food sharing is common. The wolve's social system and hunting strategy has been so successful that the wolf has flourished wherever it has roamed. Only one other highly intelligent predator has mimicked the wolf, or evolved along these same lines. |

| Join the many friends of animals who are calling for a boycott of Alaska's tourism in response to the wolf killing that is taking place. Airplanes and helicopters are allowed to run the wolfs to exhustion and then shoot them as they lay helpless on the ground and out of breath.
